Why you’ll love our bass teacher matching service:

1. Be matched to the right bass teacher—for free!

We’ll put careful attention on matching you to the bass teacher who best suits your learning needs.

2. In-home or local studio lessons.

Enjoy bass lessons in your own home with a knowledgeable, patient and understanding bass teacher. Or, if you prefer, you can learn in the studio of a local bass teacher, and take full advantage of the learning environment they’ve created. (Please note: due to high demand, in-home lessons may not always be available.)

3. We do the legwork for you.

You don’t need to call any teachers or wait for anyone to return your calls. Just leave your enquiry with us and we’ll let you know when we’ve found the teacher you’re looking for. We can then have them call you in person.

4. Personalised tuition.

Your experienced bass teacher will create a lesson plan just for you. Study for grades with any of the major examination boards, or learn just for fun. We only insist upon one thing… that you follow your dreams!

5. No registration fees or hidden fees—ever.

All you pay for are your bass lessons.

6. No long term contracts or commitments.

Because arranging bass lessons shouldn’t feel like re-financing a loan!

7. Get results quickly and easily—and have lots of fun doing it!

8. Tackle those genres of music that inspired you in the first place.

No matter how big that mountain is… your bass teacher will climb it with you!

9. Train your ear and be able to improvise anywhere, any time!

Building confidence and practical knowledge are part of the foundation of our bass lessons.

10. Learn the correct techniques from the start and avoid any bad habits.

No books or videos can compete with the undivided attention of a real bass teacher, in your own personal bass lessons.

Matching you to a bass teacher

1. First up, we tend to be a bit choosy about the type of bass teacher we work with. Call us pernickety (don’t you love that word?) but we really do insist that every bass teacher we register into our network meets a very high standard.

2. We get to know every bass teacher in the Stars & Catz network personally. It’s not that hard to do—we’ve found that the bass teacher is very likable breed! What’s more, it’s essential for us to know each bass teacher well, so that we understand their particular areas of expertise, their preferred methods of teaching, their own personal motivations, and more.

3. We get to know you, too. Before we think about matching you with a bass teacher, we take the time to find out exactly what you’re looking for from your bass lessons. These details act as important guides in helping us choose the bass teacher who best meets your needs.

4. Beginning your bass lessons! The first lesson is usually an exciting meeting, where rapport is established between you and your bass teacher. From here, you should be off to a flying start. We’ll get in touch with you after your lesson to find out how you went. If, for some reason, your first lesson is not satisfactory, we’ll step in to resolve any difficulties and make sure your bass lessons don’t miss a beat!
